We are excited to announce the OMNL and ANA-Maine Collaborative!

Plan to attend the first meeting on February 23 - the format will include a membership meeting and an educational component.

Our speaker for February will be Chris Laird from NL EMMC. His presentation will align with the AONL competency of Knowledge of the Healthcare Environment.

Title and description:
The long wait: Interventions used to decrease organizational length of stay and the impacts on units from the emergency department and beyond

A focused discussion on implementing standardized multidisciplinary rounds and long length of stay meetings and their impact on the average length of stay and patient throughput, emergency department holds, and improving overall access to care.
