ANA-Maine and OMNL Host Annual Nurses Tea at the Blaine House

Did you know Maine has more nurses in its legislature than any other state nationwide? Representative Michele Meyer, the keynote speaker for the 2024 Maine Nurse’s Tea at The Blaine House - Home of Maine's Governors since 1919, explained that “nurses make great legislators.” 

ANA-Maine would like to thank Governor Janet Mills, DHHS Commissioner Lambrew, and Representative Michele Meyer for acknowledging nurses' contributions to the health and wellness of Mainers and for providing the opportunity to celebrate together. We are also grateful to our colleagues from the OMNL Nursing Leadership of Maine, who collaborated with us to ensure this was a memorable event.
