What continues to excite me most about nursing is the profound human connection at its core. Nursing is where science meets compassion, where critical thinking is paired with presence, and where every interaction has the potential to change a life. As our profession continues to evolve, nurses remain at the forefront, driving innovation, advancing safety, and elevating person-centered care locally and globally. Being part of a profession that leads change while never losing sight of humanity is what inspires me every day.

That same sense of purpose is what draws me to ANA-Maine. Our professional association brings nurses together across roles, settings, and regions to advocate, educate, and lead. ANA-Maine provides a powerful platform to elevate the nursing voice, influence policy, and strengthen the profession statewide. Supporting Maine’s nursing community aligns deeply with my commitment to advancing professional practice, quality care, and excellence in nursing leadership.

I want our members to know that my commitment to nursing is lifelong and deeply personal. I come to this work as a clinician, educator, researcher, and executive who believes strongly in strengthening the Fundamentals of Care, fostering a culture of safety, and creating environments where nurses can truly thrive. My leadership is grounded in listening, collaboration, and advocacy—championing the work nurses do every day and ensuring their voices are heard where decisions are made.
