Meet Sarah Sinclair, Treasurer ANA-Maine
Sarah Sinclair, MSN, RN-BC, is a registered nurse and community health leader dedicated to advancing inclusive, family-centered care for children and young adults with diverse abilities. She serves as Director of Home and Community Services for The Courageous Steps Project, where she leads behavioral health and developmental programs that support independence and community engagement.
A two-time graduate of the University of Maine, Sarah earned both her BSN and MSN in Clinical Education. She began her career at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, progressing from medical-surgical nursing to interventional services, and later serving as a Cardiac Nurse Educator and New Nurse Residency Coordinator, mentoring and preparing new nurses for practice.
Sarah is also the founder of Whole Child Health Consulting, partnering with early childhood centers throughout Maine to enhance health and safety practices. She lives in Hampden with her family and, as Treasurer of ANA-Maine, is committed to strengthening the nursing profession through collaboration, education, and advocacy.

What excites you about nursing?
I love that nursing blends science, compassion, and advocacy. What excites me most is being able to support people in real, practical ways and help build systems that make care safer, more accessible, and more human.
